Here is our week of learning at a glance:
Reading Workshop- We will begin our unit on folktales. This week we will focus on Cinderella stories from around the world. We will compare and contrast the various versions.
Writing Workshop- This week we will begin writing our biography about one of our peers! We will take this piece of writing through the writing process. I can't wait to share the finished product!
Math- We will focus on three digit place value. We will focus on different ways to write a number: standard form (245), word form ( two hundred forty-five), expanded form ( 200+40+5) and using our base 10 blocks.
Science/ Social Studies- This week we will continue our unit on objects in the sky and then we will move to social studies. We will focus on urban, rural, and suburban communities.
Class Brighteners- We are close to earning 5 compliments so please keep encouraging great behavior. Demi and Hudson were nominated for the Incredible Shot! The were chosen for working towards their best all across the curriculum! We are super proud of their hard work!
